  1. Hi there, I was just wondering if you can tell me what the staging entails? Do you have a team that moves everything? If furniture is needed, is it brought in? Just looking for a few more specifics.

    Thanks very much

    • Thank you for your inquiry. An initial consultation usually takes about an hour. Often it is more cost-effective to just start working (arranging furniture, hanging the art, styling and organizing) if there is not some major work required first. i.e. major pieces to move or store, choosing paint colours, painting, new flooring, countertops or backsplashes, repairs, etc. I look at all areas from the curb appeal to closets to basements. Often I simply teach the client how to organize closets and storage areas to save time and money, as well as locations and details for purchasing any smaller items necessary to complete the staging such as towels, fresh flowers, soap dispensers, bedding, etc. Each project is unique and different. I hope this helps better understand the staging process. I am happy to answer any queries via email or phone.

I’m sorry, but I no longer rent furniture as part of my staging business. Instead, I stage with the existing furniture, art and items in the home. But there are a couple of different solutions that I have used successfully instead of renting furniture, which can be expensive, ill-placed and poorly chosen.

Often the client or developer have pieces that they own or can borrow, and then I source cost-effective, as well as appropriate, needed pieces, making for an inviting and saleable result. As well, it is more cost-effective in the long run, as they can reuse the items for other properties or in their new home. I hope this helps and I appreciate your inquiry and hopefully, continual business. Please call if you have any further queries. 403.606.3080
